This absolutely gorgeous 50s sideboard, stamped by Mathias and Co. is really something else.
Made from solid wood - possibly myrtle and oak - it is a very high quality piece of furniture.
The design is the first thing you'll notice. It has the angles and playfulness you'd expect from the atomic era.
With 3 drawers and two doored compartments, there is plenty of storage. The doors open towards the middle of the unit, which is a fun element of the design.
Another highlight of the design is the handles. Made also from solid wood, they have been crafted beautifully to give a simple but elegant finish.
The unit has been completely refurbished to expose the natural wood tones. It has been finished in a silky and durable lacquer.
