Retro Folding Daybed

This is a unique piece indeed!

A compact and stylish mid century daybed, with the added bonus of having legs that can fold away.

This makes it perfect for an extra 'sleeper' or additional seating that can be easily folded and packed away when more space is required. 

The daybed has a freshly reupholstered mattress cover. The material is a thick and durable canvas with an absolutely adorable retro pattern. 

The frame is solid, but does have some surface wear commensurate with age. 

It does appear that this daybed once had a back attached to it. That piece is unfortunately long gone, leaving just the base. 

The original wood stain was also applied unevenly, but it's quite charming and makes this a retro piece with a decent history.
